Identifying the Target

"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceieve it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert...to give drink to my chosen people, the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise." - Isaiah 43:19-21

What is Our Aim?

Do we, as followers of Jesus, have eyes that perceive what He is doing across the earth? What is our focus during these tumultuous days we are living in? Jesus is calling to us today to remain alert and attentive to all He has commanded us, as He similarly called to the Church in Sardis in Revelation 3. Jesus said, "Wake up, and strengthen what remains...remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent," (Revelation 3:2-3). What did we receive/hear, and how is God asking us to keep such things? We will unpack this, as well as the connection it has to our mission at Hundredfold.

If you have taken a look at our website before reading this article, you are most likely familiar with some of the instrumental passages in Scripture that makeup the DNA of our mission. Passages like Matthew 24:14, Matthew 28:18-20, and Romans 10:14-17 all display the core mission of God to us. Which is to "go and make disciples" (Matt. 28:19), so that we may see those "alienated from God" (Col. 1:21) become "reconciled to God" (2 Cor. 5:20). Having received these commands and instructions from God, we should at the very least be aware of our current progress on this mission.

The 3.4 Billion unreached/unengaged people left around the world, 42% of the world's total population, clearly lay out the remaining task. Regardless if we live in a "Red Zone" or "Green Zone" nation, this remaining task should be central to all we do. As followers of Jesus, our involvement in the Great Commission isn't optional; it is actually a must. It is our mandate! It is our joy because this mandate, when completed by God's strength, actually brings about the return of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Does our everyday life and actions play out with the purpose of the advancement of global missions? Or has it become our forgotten mandate? Our connection to this global mandate to bring other's into the family of God is actually our connection to the heart of God. He is making a way in the wildnerness and rivers in the desert, do we perceiveit?

Target Goals:

Hundredfold Missions exists to teach followers of Jesus about the unreached and to mobilize them to be involved. For this very reason, to bring about awareness of the missional heart of God and the great need around the world.

As we begin this journey at Hundredfold Missions, we want to lay out the Target Goals we have for year one, the "Pioneering Phase". These goals will focus on the deficiencies we see in regard to missions in "Red Zone" nations, so that we would see these narratives flipped.

Hundredfold Missions - Target Goals (Year One):

  • 1,500 people made aware of the Unreached demographic

  • 3 "Red Zone" countries involved in missionally with local contacts

  • $5,000 given directly to frontier missions initiatives by Hundredfold Missions.

Investing in Hundredfold Missions will not only allow us to pursue these God-given target goals but will also increase our capacity to do so. Whether it be by zealously going yourself, sending others (financial investment), or contending in prayer, all hands on deck will be required to see this God-sized dream accomplished.

This is our aim. What is yours?

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." - 2 Corinthians 13:14
