Prayer is not a secondary response—it is where mission begins.
At Hundredfold Missions, intercession is not just something we invite others into—it is something we are committed to ourselves. We desire to be a people who regularly gather, contend, and listen before the Lord—receiving His heart for the nations and responding in obedience.
From the beginning, we believed that engaging the unreached would involve mobilizing people to pray, give, and go. But it wasn’t until we stepped onto the field and listened to those already laboring in these regions that this conviction was deeply confirmed.
During our first exploratory trip, in a conversation with a long-term worker in North Africa, we asked a simple question:
“If you had a room full of Christ followers from reached nations, what would you say are the greatest needs on the field in these 'Red-Zones'?”
His answer was immediate:
“First, it’s a mobilization to prayer.”
He went on to share that over a decade ago, their team began intentionally praying over unreached regions—asking God to go before them, to open doors, and to make a way where there was none.
It was through that place of prayer that they began to see doors open—radically.
Access was given. Relationships formed. Movement began.
And it has continued ever since.
He later spoke of the need for financial investment and the value of short-term teams—but he was clear:
It starts with prayer.
There is a mystery in this—God is already at work, yet He invites us to participate with Him through intercession. And as we do, He moves in ways that are often accelerated, revealed, and made visible through the prayers of His people.
We are not powerless in the face of global need. We are invited into partnership with God Himself.
There are still billions with little to no access to the Gospel—but this is often where a costly yes begins:
In the hidden place of prayer....
The promise is sure, but the yes is left to us.
